SS304 High-Flow Catless Downpipe with Integrated Heat Shield for BMW N55 Electronic Wastegate Models
Designed for compatible BMW M235i F22, 435i F32/F33 and original M2 F87 models powered by the N55 3.0L turbocharged inline-six with Electronic Wastegate (EWG), this catless performance downpipe replaces the restrictive factory catalytic converter section with a significantly freer-flowing exhaust path.
Manufactured from high-quality SS304 stainless steel with a 1.5 mm wall thickness, the downpipe is engineered to withstand the high exhaust temperatures generated directly after the turbocharger while providing excellent corrosion resistance, strength and long-term durability. The straight-through catless configuration removes the factory primary catalyst restriction for maximum post-turbo exhaust flow.
An integrated metal heat shield surrounds the downpipe to help reduce radiant heat transfer to nearby wiring, hoses and surrounding engine-bay components. This version is specifically designed for the N55 Electronic Wastegate (EWG) turbocharger configuration; PWG and EWG downpipes use different turbo outlet connections and should not be treated as interchangeable.
The vehicle-specific routing is designed around the factory N55 EWG turbocharger and exhaust connection points. Original oxygen sensors and applicable OEM hardware should be transferred during installation where required. Professional installation is strongly recommended.

This downpipe is designed specifically for N55 Electronic Wastegate (EWG) vehicles. It is not suitable for N55 models equipped with the earlier Pneumatic Wastegate (PWG) turbocharger configuration.
Installation of a catless downpipe may trigger a Check Engine Light (CEL) due to changes in catalytic converter and oxygen sensor monitoring. Appropriate ECU software or calibration may be required depending on the vehicle setup.
