Designed for compatible Volkswagen Golf GTI / Golf R MK7 and Audi A3 / S3 8V models powered by EA888 Gen 3 1.8T and 2.0T turbocharged engines, this upgraded charge and boost pipe kit replaces restrictive factory charge-air piping with a stronger and freer-flowing aluminum system.
Manufactured from 6061 aluminum, the upgraded pipework provides increased strength, heat resistance and long-term durability compared with factory plastic and lightweight charge-air components.
The smoother high-flow pipe design helps reduce unnecessary airflow restriction and turbulence throughout the charge-air system, supporting more efficient airflow between the turbocharger, intercooler and throttle body.
Upgraded charge and boost piping is particularly beneficial for ECU-tuned, higher-boost and performance-oriented EA888 Gen 3 applications, where increased airflow demand and boost pressure can place additional stress on the factory piping and connection points.
The complete kit includes both the charge pipe and boost pipe sections together with the required couplers, adapters, clamps and installation hardware for integration with the factory MQB charge-air system.
This kit can be used with the factory intercooler or compatible upgraded intercooler systems, making it a useful supporting upgrade for stock-turbo and modified vehicles.
