SS304 Complete Primary & Secondary Catless Downpipe System for the BMW X5 M & X6 M S68 Twin-Turbo V8
Designed for the BMW X5 M F95 LCI and BMW X6 M F96 LCI powered by the S68 4.4L twin-turbo V8, this complete primary and secondary catless downpipe system replaces the restrictive factory catalytic converter sections with a significantly freer-flowing exhaust path.
Manufactured from high-quality SS304 stainless steel, the system is engineered to withstand the extreme exhaust temperatures generated directly after the twin turbochargers while providing excellent corrosion resistance, strength and long-term durability. The complete catless configuration removes both the factory primary and secondary catalytic converter restrictions for maximum exhaust flow through the downpipe section.
The factory S68 exhaust configuration uses two primary catalytic converter sections and two secondary catalytic converter sections. This kit replaces all four catalyst sections with unrestricted SS304 pipework, significantly reducing post-turbo exhaust restriction while producing increased turbocharger sound and a much more aggressive V8 exhaust character.
The primary downpipe sections feature integrated metal heat shields to help manage radiant exhaust temperatures around the turbochargers and surrounding engine-bay components. The secondary sections connect the primary downpipes to the remaining exhaust system for a complete four-piece catless configuration.
On compatible European OPF / GPF-equipped vehicles, the particulate filters are located farther downstream in the exhaust system and can remain installed when replacing the primary and secondary catalytic converter sections. Exact regional exhaust configuration should still be verified before ordering.
The vehicle-specific routing and mounting geometry are designed around the factory S68 turbocharger and exhaust connection points. Original oxygen sensors and applicable OEM components should be transferred during installation where required. Professional installation is strongly recommended.
