High-Flow Catless Downpipes with Heat Shields for BMW X3M F97 & X4M F98 S58 3.0L Twin-Turbo
Designed for the BMW X3M F97 and BMW X4M F98 powered by the S58 3.0L twin-turbo inline-six, these high-flow catless downpipes replace the restrictive factory catalytic converter sections with a significantly freer-flowing exhaust path directly after the turbochargers.
Manufactured from high-quality stainless steel, the downpipes are engineered to withstand extreme exhaust temperatures while providing excellent strength, corrosion resistance and long-term durability.
Integrated metal heat shields help reduce radiant heat around the downpipes and surrounding engine-bay components, providing additional thermal protection in the high-temperature turbocharger area.
The catless configuration removes the restrictive factory catalytic converters, significantly reducing post-turbo exhaust restriction and improving exhaust gas flow. This results in increased turbocharger sound together with a deeper, louder and more aggressive S58 exhaust note.
The freer-flowing configuration is particularly suited to tuned and performance-oriented S58 builds where reduced exhaust restriction and improved turbocharger response are a priority.
Vehicle-specific routing, flange geometry and mounting points are designed around the factory BMW X3M F97 / X4M F98 S58 exhaust system. Original oxygen sensors and applicable OEM components should be transferred during installation where required. Professional installation is strongly recommended.
