SS304 High-Flow 3.5" Catless Downpipes for BMW S58 3.0L Twin-Turbo
Designed for BMW M2 G87, M3 G80 / G81 and M4 G82 / G83 models powered by the S58 3.0L twin-turbo inline-six, these high-flow catless downpipes replace the restrictive factory catalytic converter sections with a significantly freer-flowing exhaust path directly after the turbochargers.
Manufactured from high-quality SS304 stainless steel, the downpipes provide excellent resistance to extreme exhaust temperatures, corrosion and long-term wear while maintaining a strong and durable construction for demanding performance applications.
The 3.5-inch to 3-inch pipe configuration provides a large-volume exhaust path directly after the turbochargers before transitioning smoothly toward the remaining exhaust system. Combined with smooth pipe routing, this helps reduce post-turbo exhaust restriction and improve overall exhaust gas flow.
The catless configuration removes the restrictive factory catalytic converters, producing increased turbocharger sound together with a deeper, louder and considerably more aggressive S58 exhaust note. The reduced restriction also makes these downpipes particularly suitable for tuned and performance-oriented S58 builds.
An integrated flexpipe section helps absorb exhaust movement, vibration and thermal expansion while reducing stress on surrounding exhaust components and connection points.
Vehicle-specific flange geometry and mounting points are designed around the factory BMW S58 turbocharger and exhaust system. Original oxygen sensors and applicable OEM components should be transferred during installation where required. Professional installation is strongly recommended.
